HCM City offers TET holiday work program for students

Ho Chi Minh City is offering students a short-term holiday work stint that is exciting and full of promise, providing them a rewarding experience working in the vibrant city over the TET holidays.


It offers students the chance to gain exposure in a modern workplace and give them first-hand experience in a variety of jobs such as supermarket assistants, cashiers, shop-assistants, housemaids and Tet packers.

Prospective employers are encouraged to contact the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Centre. Currently, around 350 businesses have submitted requests for 4,000 students to do extra work during Tet.

The work holiday program, running through February 10, is open to all university undergraduates and graduates aged 18 to 25 of all nationalities studying in universities in the city. Pay rates vary from US$.90- US$2.40 (VND20,000-VND54,000) per hour.
