The fair, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, will feature 250 booths displaying such products as Chu Đậu ceramics, Bát Tràng ceramics and Đông Hồ painting.
The fair aims to enhance trade promotion, add value to traditional craft products, attract investment to expand production of craft villages as well as encourage villages to fully tap their tourism potential.
Visitors will be able to witness skilful artisans at work on silver carving, mother of pearl inlay, rattan and bamboo weaving or ceramics making.
This year, CraftViệt also features the Việt Nam Tea Space where tea producers and tea companies from areas such as Thái Nguyên and Sơn La introduce their fine quality tea products. Visitors can sip tea while watching calligraphists at work.
A conference will also be held on developing craft village tourism and the supply-demand of argricultural products.
